Every finance manager knows the bank document calculations have to match the Bill of Sale. We call this deal "balancing". Some managers solve the problem with white-out and a black pen; others use system over rides that allow you to bypass the deal calculations. Quantech has the best deal calculation engine in the business! In fact, we are one of the only if not the ONLY software provider that has different non monthly calculation methods based on the lender. Q-F&I selling tools
Q-F&I comes loaded with excellent selling tools including Quick Quote, Roll Payment and a Lien Payout Calculator. Other selling tools like being able to view the cost of any F&I product as a daily, weekly, monthly or total price make it easier to position them to customers.
The powerful (optional) menu in Q-F&I has features that make it one of the most feature rich menus in Canada. Within the menu you can:
- Link to any external documents like Videos, YouTube, Web pages, PDF documents, etc.
- Present as many as eight different F&I products in one of four groups.
- Load deal specific Warranties, GAP, Maintenance, and Tire & Wheel products into the menu.

Quantech has hundreds of users that have elected to use Q-F&I instead of the F&I modules in their DMS. Why? Because from the ground up Q-F&I is designed for the Canadian market, it's not an afterthought or a re-skinned version of a US based system. Q-F&I has features not found in ANY other F&I program like our integrations with F&I partners like IA-SAL, First Canadian Insurance not to mention our Dealertrack finance portal integration.
In the interests of expediency many finance managers, particularly those focused on sub-prime start deals in Dealertrack to find credit scores and determine finance options. Customer and deal information is then re-entered into the DMS. Not with Q-F&I. You can start a deal in Quantech or in Dealertrack. In either case you can get the information back into Quantech saving entry time.
Virtually every Canadian finance institution calculates a monthly payment the same way. The same cannot be said for non-monthly (bi-weekly) calculations. A few years ago while trying to balance a bi-weekly deal from our system with the bank documents we realized not all banks calculate bi-weekly deals the same way. In response, our programmers developed a second bank calculation algorithm. To the best of our knowledge Quantech offers the ONLY F&I software with multiple bank payment calculators!
