Quantech Q-F&I Online Adds QuickBooks and Sage 50 File Support
Quantech has added support for dealerships that use QuickBooks and Sage
50 (Simply Accounting) in its newest Q-F&I Online release.
Users can export deals into correctly formatted data files from within Q-F&I Online taking advantage of the built-in import capabilities of Sage 50 and QuickBooks. "Many of our customers aren't large enough to take on the expense of a Dealer Management System (DMS). They often elect to use standalone accounting software like QuickBooks or Sage 50", according to Mike Martin, Quantech Software General Manager, "this new feature makes it easier for them to do their jobs". Bookkeepers will save time from having to manually enter each sales invoice whenever a unit is sold. "With just a couple of mouse clicks the bookkeeper can import single or batches of Q-F&I Online deals and create the matching QuickBooks or Sage 50 sales invoice(s).
Multiple entry is a way of life for most business managers. The deal export feature is part of Quantech Software's ongoing efforts to reduce multiple entry in the business office by integrating Q-F&I Online with major Canadian F&I providers. Basic customer and deal information is commonly entered three or four times on each deal. "We believe it's a waste of time and it's costing dealerships money due to mistakes and lost productivity", Martin. In the last 18 months Quantech has completed ten integrations.
