Quantech Adds Laser Printing Functionality for Numbered Certificates to its V6 F&I Software

Quantech Software.com Inc., developer of V6 F&I software, is pleased to announce that Quantech V6 now includes the ability to print numbered forms and certificates on laser printers.

According to Jack Pyck, President of Quantech Software.com, “Even though our software has allowed laser printing for years, impact printers are not a thing of the past – yet”. The main feature of the new functionality of V6 is the ability to apply and track certificate numbers on electronically generated forms. “Major F&I suppliers have certified us to provide numbered documents printable on laser printers. They are excited about the cost-saving implications of not having to provide dealers with a supply of forms – business managers appreciate not having to worry about running out of certificates”, says Pyck.

Laser printed forms need no adjusting or aligning, and there are virtually no costs associated with laser printed forms because they use plain paper. The electronic format enables them to be saved as PDF or MS Word documents that can then be sent anywhere in seconds via email instead of by expensive courier services.

To date, Quantech has electronic versions of most banks’ CSA’s and credit applications as well as many insurance and warranty forms. As an added service, Quantech programs custom forms when provided with the electronic version.
