British Columbia based Quantech Software.com announces the completion of its online forms engine, QForms (www.qforms.ca). "We’ve been working on this technology for almost a year", says Terry Kilshaw, Quantech Software CTO, "It’s fast,very secure and able to handle virtually any type of form. We see many applications for the forms technology, moving forward".

The first form incorporating the QForms technology is the Ontario Trade Appraisal form used by thousands of UCDA member dealerships whenever a vehicle is traded in. "It’s all about better appraisals, getting an accurate trade value, and making the required disclosures", explains Bob Pierce, Director Member Services of the UCDA (Used Car Dealers Association of Ontario)

The online version of the trade appraisal form is identical to the multi-page (paper) version used in Ontario dealerships. As opposed to being handwritten or printed on a dot matrix printer, the QForms version of the trade appraisal form is printable on any laser or ink jet printer. In addition, completed forms are stored online and searchable. "It’s easy to use, and a time-saver", according to Mike Martin, General Manager of Quantech Software, "the built in VIN decoder automatically pulls in Year Make Model, and information on the first page is automatically copied to the three other pages."

The QForms version of the Ontario trade appraisal form is programmed to ensure all mandatory fields are filled in prior to printing. "We worked with UCDA to make sure the form is set up perfectly, and that all of the required fields are filled in before it can be printed", says Martin, "we believe it will maximize the value dealerships, buyers and sellers gain from using QForms to fill out the trade appraisal form".

Ontario UCDA Dealer/Members will pay $499.00 (plus applicable taxes) for one-year of QForms online access to the UCDA Trade Appraisal form. "For $499, the dealership can print as many copies of form on their laser printer as they want for one year", says Martin.
